Puneet Tiwari

Puneet Tiwari is an experienced employment litigator representing employers and employees alike, across the country. Prior to joining Levitt LLP, Puneet was in-house counsel to a large global HR consulting firm where he also managed the legal team responsible for defending employment claims for over 6,000 clients across Canada. Webb v. SDT North America, 2023 ONSC 7170 , obtained an 15-month award for a 12 years of service employee who was constructively dismissed.

Gibbons Venture Ltd. v. Kwan, 2021 ONSC 6001 , successfully defended a former employee against an emergency injunction form his employer. (with Peter Carey)

Marzara v. 2565818 Ontario Limited, 2019 HRTO 1625 , successfully recovered damages for an employee in a toxic workplace.

Leason v. Adamanda Inc. o/a Dairy Queen , 2023 HRTO 1652 , successfully argued that family disputes in the workplace do not indicate a toxic work environment. (with Jeff Buchan)

Peninsula Employment Services Limited v. Saxena, 2023 ONLRB 72110 , won on appeal where the OLRB held that outside salespeople are not entitled to vacation pay on their commissions.
