Amrit Singh Toor

Amrit's practice is primarily focused on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and complex corporate and commercial agreements. Amrit advises clients on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, carve-out transactions, equity investments, commercial contracts, corporate restructurings and joint ventures.

In 2025, Amrit completed a secondment with a leading non-prime lender, where he worked on a wide variety of corporate, commercial and compliance matters. Prior to joining Blakes, Amrit worked at a leading North American financial institution.

Amrit joined Blakes as a summer student in 2021 and completed his articles with the Firm in 2022–2023.
