Gennadiy Sergiy Bogutskiy

Gennadiy is a lawyer focused on criminal defense practice in Windsor, Ontario. Gennadiy has extensive litigation experience, gained as a Crown Prosecutor in the Canadian Prairie provinces of Saskatchewan and Alberta in 2019-2024, enhanced by continuous experience in criminal defense practice in Ontario in 2024-2026, and by experience as an Assistant State's Attorney at Wicomico County State's Attorney's Office in Maryland, USA. While working as a Crown Prosecutor in Saskatchewan, Gennadiy earned a team award from the Premier for Excellence in Public Service .

Gennadiy has also accumulated experience as a law clerk at Fragomen, Del Rey, Lowson and Loevy in Troy, Michigan and at Wayne County Prosecutor's Office where he completed OPT training and worked as a paralegal respectively. While in law school, Gennadiy earned Best Oralist: Second Place in Keenan Appellate Competition administered by Detroit Mercy Law's Moot Court Board of Advocates in Michigan.

Gennadiy represents Clients with their litigation needs and provides legal services in multiple areas of law, relying on the wealth of successful common law litigation experience gained in Canada and the United States. Prior to the graduation from the Juris Doctor program in 2018, Gennadiy has completed an internship at the International Criminal Court Office of the Prosecutor, and contributed effectively at a multinational law firm focused on contracts, tax and business law as well as immigration and emigtation before completing the Master of laws program. Gennadiy's languages of choice are English, Ukrainian, Russian and German.

Gennadiy is authorized to accept Legal Aid Ontario general criminal and immigration certificates, and represents private Clients in all criminal matters in Canada and federal criminal matters in the United States.
