Clarisa Denise Waldman

Clarisa Waldman practices law through the Clarisa Waldman Professional Corporation. Clarisa graduated from the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law in 2009 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in June 2010 after completing her articles with the Legal Department of the Canadian Auto Workers. Clarisa received a Masters in International Affairs from Carleton University in 2011. Since 2010, she has practiced exclusively in the areas of immigration and refugee law at a prominent and internationally known law firm. Clarisa appears regularly before the Federal Court of Canada. She has also assisted in cases before the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. Clarisa has experience representing clients before all four Divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board in various matters including refugee hearings, refugee appeals, sponsorship appeals, removal order appeals, residency obligation appeals, and detention reviews. Her practice also involves helping clients in a wide range of immigration matters including applications for Criminal Rehabilitation, Work Permits, Temporary Resident Permits, and Permanent Residence Applications under various programs, including the Canadian Experience Class as well as Family Sponsorships.
