Gervas Warlow Wall

Gervas’s practice extends from the prosecution of patent and trademark applications through to litigation of intellectual property rights. He appears in the courts of the Province of Ontario as well as the Federal Court of Canada, and before the Trade-mark Opposition Board and the Patent Appeal Board.

Gervas has more than thirty years experience in litigation in the intellectual property field, including trials and injunction applications. He also advises clients in complex licensing issues, and he has acted as special intellectual property counsel in major corporate transactions.

Gervas regularly writes and speaks on Canadian intellectual property matters, including on patent protection, litigation, and licensing.

On June 18, 2026, from 12 -1 pm ET, Gervas Wall and Gary Daniel will speak at CAN-TECH's AI Committee meeting about two landmark Canadian cases at the intersection of artificial intelligence and intellectual property law.

Between May 2 and May 6, 2026, DWW delegates will be attending the International Trademark Association (INTA) 2026 Annual Meeting in London, England.
