About

Alexandria Bonney is an Ottawa-based lawyer who is called to the Bar in Ontario. Alexandria holds a Bachelor of Arts, Honours in Political Science from the University of Winnipeg and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Ottawa. She has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Small Claims Court, the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, and the Consent and Capacity Board.

Alexandria acts for employees, workers, and individuals. This focus means her practice is built entirely around understanding the challenges faced by people navigating workplace disputes, discrimination, and systemic injustice.

When she isn't running a law firm, she teaches the Prison Law Practicum at the University of Ottawa and Prison Law in Action at Carleton University, where she emphasizes the importance of protecting the rights of those incarcerated. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Elizabeth Fry Society of Ottawa and is a Founder of the Not-For-Profit Prisoner Legal Supports, which provides essential legal services in Ontario to provincial prisoners.

If you are facing a workplace dispute or human rights matter, contact Bonney Law to discuss your situation.
