Prior to law school, Jennifer earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto, where she was a Research Assistant in classical architecture and contributed as an Art Writer for Artoronto Magazine . She is a recipient of several academic awards, including the Denis Leyne Famine Studies Scholarship, the McGovern Scholarship, the John Melady Memorial Scholarship and the Irish Language Award Scholarship, which supported her study of Irish in Galway, Ireland.
