Rebecca Wise has a dual practice focused on corporate investigations and complex employment law matters.
She is regularly retained to conduct investigations and to advise on sensitive internal issues, working with boards, special committees and senior management in response to whistleblower complaints, regulatory issues and other allegations of misconduct, including fraud, conflicts of interest, financial impropriety, discrimination and harassment. Her experience includes large scale, multi party and cross border investigations, as well as matters involving historical or systemic allegations. Rebecca also advises clients as issues evolve, including supporting internal and third party investigations, coordinating response strategies and managing legal, reputational and employee relations risk. She is known for her fair, thorough and discreet approach to fact finding, and for delivering clear, defensible findings that enable organizations to make informed decisions. She also works with clients to design and strengthen whistleblower frameworks, investigation protocols and governance processes.
Alongside her investigations work, Rebecca advises on complex and strategically significant employment law matters. She counsels clients on a wide range of workplace issues, including hiring practices, human rights, discipline, terminations, restrictive covenants, occupational health and safety, and emerging issues such as AI in the workplace. She is frequently engaged on sensitive executive transitions, corporate transactions and other enterprise level mandates, and leads reviews of workplace policies and practices to support compliance and mitigate risk.
