David Harris Zemans

David is a partner in the Singapore office of Milbank LLP and a former member of the firm's Global Executive Committee. He is also the Managing Partner of the firm's Singapore office and Milbank's Asia Practice.

Based in Singapore for over 25 years, David has advised clients on many of the largest and most complex corporate M&A, restructuring, banking and project finance and capital market transactions to have been successfully completed across the Asia-Pacific region, including in Australia, Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Korea, Japan, Thailand and the Philippines.

He has particular expertise advising sponsors, developers, strategic investors and financial institutions on the development, financing and commercialization of large-scale digital infrastructure and TMT assets across Asia, including AI infrastructure, GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) platforms and hyperscale data center developments.

David is consistently ranked in the top tier by Chambers Asia-Pacific for M&A, Banking & Finance and Restructuring/Insolvency, receiving the “Outstanding Contribution to the Legal Profession Award” at the Chambers Asia-Pacific Awards.
