Lawyer · Howard G. Zweig · Toronto
Howard Zweig has practised law in Toronto and the surrounding area for over 40 years. His practice is focused on family law, real estate law, wills and estates law, and corporate/commercial law.
Howard also has extensive background in civil litigation and is therefore able to give general advice on a number of issues in civil law, including termination of employment/wrongful dismissal, debt collection, and contract disputes. Where greater expertise in a civil law matter is required, or if it becomes necessary to engage in court action regarding a civil matter, Howard has a network of trusted civil litigation lawyers to whom he can refer you.
Howard graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School (Toronto) in 1976 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1978. He has practised law in Ontario continuously and exclusively since 1978 and lives in Toronto.
Howard is a sole practitioner, meaning that when you retain him you get personal service from him, not from a different lawyer. His “hands-on” and personal approach to dealing with his clients and their matters ensures that he remains current on developments in your file at all times and that he is always able to apply his knowledge and experience to resolving issues as they arise in your case. At the same time, Howard is supported in his work on your matter by his experienced legal assistant, who is a second contact point for you as your matter progresses.
Howard communicates frequently and clearly with his clients. He has developed a reputation for exceeding clients’ expectations in providing them with information about and explanation of their matters. He is always available to his clients when they need to speak with him directly.
