Allison Watterworth Buchanan

Allison W. Buchanan is a counsel in our Employment & Labour group in Toronto. Allison has exceptional experience in all areas of employment law, including employee hiring and dismissals, employment standards, employment contracts and policies, human rights and accommodation, harassment and discrimination, employee benefit plans, and workplace safety and insurance matters. Additionally, she regularly advises and represents her clients in employment-related litigation before Ontario courts and tribunals.

Allison is known for providing practical, strategic advice and representation to Canadian employers on a wide range of both labour and employment law topics, across industries. She works closely with clients to develop tailored strategies to address their needs.

Allison is also a strategic and direct advocate. She has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, and the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal.

Prior to joining Dentons in 2021, Allison was an associate at a leading employment boutique in Toronto.
