Kristen Hallie Buckholt

Kristen Buckholt is a litigation associate whose practice encompasses corporate and commercial disputes, securities litigation and other complex civil matters.

Kristen graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, where she developed an interest in litigation after her experiences with trial advocacy. In her first year of law school, she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada to develop a resource guide for 2SLGBTQ+ youth about their legal rights in public schools. She served as co-director of the Hockey Arbitration Competition of Canada, wherein students from across North America compete in NHL salary dispute arbitration. She was the co-president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society in her final year of school.

Prior to law school, Kristen completed her B.A. in political science at George Washington University. She graduated magna cum laude in 2020. Prior to joining CMB as an associate, Kristen summered and articled with the firm.
